Original illustrated blue cloth gilt. Head and tail of spine crumpled with small portion of fraying to joint at head of spine. Edges and corners slightly worn and rubbed, slight lean to spine. x, 266 pages plus [2] pages of publisher's adverts. All plates present, one of the 12 is partially protrouding from main body of book and has worn edges. Contents slightly shaken, inner hinge visible between frontis. and title page and in a couple of other places. Pages browned and occasionally foxed and thumbed. Still a good copy of a very scarce item.
