Boards very slightly bruised to edges, and cloth lightly soiled at extreme top edge. Free endpapers lightly toned next to jacket flaps as usual; a little scattered light foxing, mainly to text-block edge and prelims. Jacket toned to spine,creased to edge, and lightly surface soiled, with 9 cm tear at upper joint and small loss at spine tips. A very good copy in a very good jacket. Description: 183pp, gift inscription to free front end paper, no other inscriptions, copy number 106 of a 150 copy limited edition, signed by author to inside of half title page. Boards are in very good order, just some very light rubbing to edges. Tipped in colour illustrations, all tissue guards are in place and undamaged. Hinges are tight, no turned over page corners, little internal wear, just some spotting largely to rear and edges of pages which carry the plates, plates not affected.
