The book is in crisp near fine condition with clean grey cloth boards with bright, unfaded yellow titles to spine. The book has sharp corners and no edgewear but 1mm nick to spine tip. The binding is tight and square. The interior pages and end papers are clean, bright and flat with no stains, no marks, no bent pages and no foxing. Beautiful clean book appearing as unread! SIGNED, INSCRIBED and dated by Ray Bradbury in with a superb full page inscription and a large drawing of a SUN. Please see images. The original first edition dust jacket is in near fine condition with strong vibrant colors. The jacket benefited from a slight touch of restoration by an expert conservator to the outer spine tips, otherwise the jacket has no edgewear, no chips, no rubbing, no fading (which is unusual as this jacket more typically has a faded spine), no stains and no foxing. The dust jacket is NOT price clipped and has a stated price of $3.00. The dust jacket is now protected in a new clear removeable archival cover.
