Description: An ex-lending library copy in its original blue ribbed cloth covered boards with gilt text and designs on the spine with the same on the front board. A small octavo of 7 1/2 by 5 1/8 inches with the cloth on the heel of the spine heavily worn and with heavy wear and rubbing to the cloth at the head of the spine, the cloth is worn through at the tips of the boards and both hinges are broken. There are book plates from the Tabard Inn Library of Philadelphia pasted to the fixed end sheets. 299 pages of text containing eleven short stories. (BAL, 11870)
