Description: 1954. First Edition. 343 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Green cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Book has been rebound by library, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Contains black and white illustrated and photographic plates. Pages are lightly tanned with pen marks, rubbing and a few small nicks along text block edge. Slight tearing to half title page, with occasional thumb-marking present throughout. Minor dog-eared corners. Mild cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Boards have light shelf-wear with mild corner bumping and slight crushing to spine ends. Book has a pronounced forward lean. Faint tanning to spine.
