Description: 8vo., 237pp. Sharp First American and First Illustrated Edition of this early dramatic work from the author of The Moonstone and The Woman in White. Bound in original publisher's green cloth with titles outlined in gilt on spine and blind-stamped with decorations on the front board. Tissue guarded fontis illustration and three additional full-page illustrations. Square, tight and clean throughout with strong joints. Some moderate wear to spine ends and tips. Mild rubbing to hinges. Some spotting to end-papers but no foxing to interior pages. Tiny black spot on the front board. A very pretty collectable set at a very good price.
