Description: Soiled, faded and worn green boards with black decoration and gilt print. Deckle page edges. Corners are bumped and rubbed through. Extremities are rubbed. Some fraying to head and tail of spine. Gutters are splitting at front and rear endpapers. Previous owner's inscription at ffep, personal notes at final two pages. Binding is cracking, though continues to hold together rather well. Interior is age-toned with spots of soiling and water-staining, text remains legible.

Kipling celebrating relationships between Great Britain and Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Cape Colony. Includes "Our Lady of the Snows (Canadian Preferential Tariff, 1897)". The first Canadian edition is taken from the first American sheets which is from the second London edition.
