From the library of Geoffrey Farmer with his book-plate. Near fine condn. The 10th Battalion was completely recruited from South Australia, in August 1914. It was one of the first battalions raised, and formed part of the 3rd Brigade, which was first ashore at Gallipoli. Three members of the battalion were awarded the Victoria Cross.
