Description: The first edition, second issue published from the 419 sets of the sheets obtained from Farrar and Rinehart by New Directions and issued with the New Directions title page in 1940, A near fine example of the book with some offsetting to the endsheets and two light strips of discoloration to the black cloth on the rear board. Dust jacket exceedingly bright ( identical to first issue ) with just the merest trace of rubbing to the edges.
