Description: This is a very good hardcover copy in pale gold cloth with title in gilt on the front cover. Slight soil to covers. Signed by William K. Bixby on the colophon and also on the front free endpaper, as a gift. One of 200 copies of a limited edition printed privately for Bixby, this is # 78. Nicely printed on Van Gelder paper, this copy is very clean inside. 4to, 9 1/2" high X 6 1/2" wide, 24 pages. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.

Bixby, limited no. 51/200 with Bixby's initials just below, has slightest bow to boards, slight bumps to base of spine and upper corners, very slight shelfwear, and light colored staining to top of front board, otherwise a solid VG copy.

One of 200 copies, this one not numbered. Originally two hundred copies were printed privately by the Bibliophile Society for William K. Bixby. In his commentary Forman defends Shelley and shows Godwin as a total parasite.
