Top edge gilt. **Spine and hinges are tight but middle signatures and some miscellaneous pages have come loose.** Contains 157 plates each separated by a printed tissue guard. Description: Standard issue bound in cream cloth stamped in green (see Mark Samuels Lasner), but apparently printed on Japon vellum. Title within ornamental border. Plates accompanied by leaf with letterpress and plate numbering. Endpapers spotted, spine a little darkened. Generally a very good copy indeed.

Description: 2 Volume Limited edition set in full cream gilt embossed buckram, Limited to 100 copies for sale and 120 in total, the frontispiece of volume 2, at the bottom edge has in an early (possibly publishers) hand in ink "Number 39 of 100 copies". 18 pages of the life of Aubrey Vincent Beardsley by H. C. Marillier, Volume 1 has 18 pp + 157 illustrations volume 2 has 10pp + 173 illustration on Japanese vellum, uncut edges, all near fine as to the contents, the cream buckram is a little darker on volume 1 and a little rubbing to central gilt front panel, both have a little light handling to the covers, more age and sliding in and out of a bookcase as opposed to wear through negligence. Very good+. Heavy quarto 1899-1901 (2) Note* Postage will remain as tariff and so subsidised postage for this 4-5 kilo set. Will pack well and promptly, as always!
