H.G. Wells. The Dream A Novel. Jonathan Cape, London, 1924.

Price: US$10.54 + shipping

Condition: Poor

Description: Okay as a reading copy or if you just want to own the first edition and, internally, the pages are, on the whole, clean and bright enough looking despite there being some toning and moderate foxing to the prelim pages especially, and to the page block edges. No previous owner inscriptions although there is a Mudie's Select Library yellow sticker on the front paste down page and number stamps, presumably from the same library on the ffep, opposite page. The front and back boards look clean although the spine cloth is completely missing and a makeshift paper title block has been selotaped to the spine. Mudie's Library smaller sticker at the top edge of the front board. Not the best copy you'll see but decent enough if you can put up with no spine cloth or are skilled enough to replace it.
