Ths book has a very gently bumped top corner on the back cover and a slightly loose front hinge, otherwise it is in excellent, like new condition with crisp, unmarked pages, a tight binding, and vibrant, attractive images throughout. The slipcase has mild rubbing to the mirrored front cover image and mild shelfwear to the bottom edge of the cover, otherwise the slipcase is also in excellent condition.

One of a limited and numbered set, signed by both contributors to a limitation sheet that doubles as an enclosure for a genuine strip of animation film. While all copies come with a strip of film from the feature "Snow White" this copy contains the sequence of images where Snow White receives the apple from the evil witch, possibly the most pivotal scene in the film. Book is absolutely fine, while case shows light rubbing along fore edge. Large quarto, blue covers with debossed signatures, slipcase with gilt titles and holographic image of Malificent. Description: Inscribed "Frank Thomas Ollie Johnston / 12-16-95" on half title page in black and blue ink. Book had been signed originally on the title page, but one of the signatures was slightly smeared, so it was signed a second time by both authors on the half title page. Signatures obtained in person at Vroman's Bookstore in Pasadena, CA on December 16, 1995. Oliver Martin Johnston Jr. (October 31, 1912 – April 14, 2008) was an American motion picture animator. He was one of Disney's Nine Old Men, and the last surviving at the time of his death from natural causes. He was recognized by The Walt Disney Company with its Disney Legend Award in 1989. His work was recognized with the National Medal of Arts in 2005. Franklin Rosborough Thomas (September 5, 1912 – September 8, 2004) was an American animator and pianist. He was one of Walt Disney's leading team of animators known as the Nine Old Men.
