Description: Decent, sound copy with no inscriptions and clean pages throughout, albeit with a touch of browning and foxing, more especially to the end papers and untrimmed page block edge. Wonderful illustrations and etchings by Damman throughout. The green cloth boards are clean and the title lettering clear, although the spine cloth is quite faded looking and there's the odd patch of discolouration to the boards.

Izaak Walton wrote one of the most famous books in the English language, The Compleat Angler; or, the Contemplative Man's Recreation.
