Carolyn Keene. The Clue of the Broken Locket (Nancy Drew Mystery Stories). Grosset & Dunlap Publishers, 1934.

Price: US$20.00 + shipping

Condition: Very Good

Description: This offering is a vintage copy of The Clue of the Broken Locket (Nancy Drew Mystery Stories) - was written by Carolyn Keene and has a black-and white frontispiece (glossy) illustrated by Russell H. Tandy. The book was published by Grosset & Dunlap Publishers probably in the 1950's and is NOT a first edition (though it's one of the first) . . . just a really nice vintage copy WITH a dust jacket in good condition that was published - perhaps - in 1934. It's one of the books with a blue cover and orange figures and print on the front board and spine. This is not an ex-library copy and is in very good condition with a dust jacket that is in good condition . . . though I believe it might be a "second state" dust jacket . . . it's got Lilian Garis on the back and not Margaret Sutton. The book's in nice shape with no interior markings and The Clue of the Broken Locket is last listed on the copyright page. The book is 5 1/4" by 7 5/8" - has 219 pages. - and is book number 11 in the series. Thanks for looking!
