There is rubbing to the spine tips, and a small area of light rubbing to the lower panel of the spine. Internally the book is free of any previous owner names or inscriptions, but there is an owners indentation stamp to the top corner of the front end paper. Age related toning to the page block, with some foxing to the inner text from page 74 to page 82. There are a few sporadic marks to a few of the leaves, but overall, a generally clean and tightly bound book. A correct UK first edition with all the McIlvaine A27a issue points present.
