Description: TRUE FIRST EDITION, 1937 Grosset & Dunlap with ALL FOUR full page original illustrations (lists to this title in the book and on the front flap of the jacket. Hardback book with dust jacket. The purple jacket has some rubbing and chips/tears (see photo). Previous owner had placed a 2" piece of tape on the backside of the jacket (along the lower right corner) and you can see the tan color (see photo). I've added a fresh mylar cover and it looks pretty nice. The book is the early THICK format with GLOSSY FRONT and THREE INTERNAL ILLUSTRATIONS! Clean and neat book with owner info written neatly inside. There are a few light fingermarks but I didn't note any tears. I've rated this book only "Good" because one of the internals had become loose (pretty common) and unfortunately the previous owner had used several small pieces of tape neat the binding to keep it secure (which didn't work). This is still a GOOD PLUS copy of the TRUE FIRST EDITION!
