A Christmas gift inscription (from 1930) to the front free end-paper and 19 dates neatly filled in by a former owner but pages really crisp and clean and with none of the usual foxing to the page block. Overall the book is bright and clean and in VG (or slightly better) condition. The D/W is priced 3/6 net to the spine (as called for). The D/W is in VG+ condition with a slither (about 3-4 mm) of loss at the head of the spine (not affecting any lettering) and with a clean back panel. A nicer copy than usually seen without the heavy wear to the D/W invariably encountered. Photographs/scans available upon request.
