Boards and leather heavily rubbed, with points of fraying at fore-edge corners of all four volumes, and at the spine corner of volume four's front panel. Gilt at spines sharp and bright. Spines square. Bindings sound. Textblock edges sprayed in a marbled design. Green and gilt marbled endsheets. Faint smoky scent in pages, not discernible unless fanning the pages. Interiors bright and free of markings. All illustrations present. This item is an oversized set, and may require additional postage to ship.
