Beautifully printed on heavy laid paper, fore-edge deckle, top edge stained green. The jacket is chipped at the head, especially near the spine, and it contains two closed tears. The spine of the book is faded at the top where the jacket was missing, but the gold is still bright. In a mylar cover, the jacket is quite still quite presentable. Except for a bit of fading the book is fine, with a clean and bright jacket.

The inscription reads, 'Frank Brangwyn (and on the line below) E K Center 1931'. Edward Kenneth Center was a British artist who worked along side Frank Brangwyn as a studio hand. Twenty four colour plates - reproductions of the artist's work. Gilt embossed title to the spine and the front board. Middle and lower fore-edge rough cut. A few unopened pages. Some splitting between the final blank page and the rear endpaper with webbing a little exposed and the rear board ever so slightly shaken. A short 9mm tear to the margin of one plate - now expertly repaired. Light soiling to the margins of several plates. Light scattered foxing. A very good, tight, signed copy with a rather unique association inscription.
