Binding is strong. End papers/ pastedowns show little to no sign of age or wear. Frontispiece is present, with intact tissue guard. Illustrations are bright and clear. Interior exhibits minimal signs of age and wear. Inside pages are free of writing and intentional marks. Text block edges have deckle fore and foot edges, a small mark at head. Inscribed on the colophon: "To William Targ. 3/23/84. Leslie Miller" Targ (1907-1999) was an editor and publisher, most well-known as the discoverer of Mario Puzo ("The Godfather" et al.) Miller was associated with the Grenfell Press.
