Edition limited to 600 copies. Copiously illustrated in colour and black and white throughout - frontispiece and 93 further plates. This book is heavy, and delivery costs may be a consideration especially outside Britain. Slight foxing to preliminaries with slight surface wear and faint fleck marking at spine, otherwise sound, clean, near very good+.

Quarter cream buckram, cloth over boards with blind-stamped centrepiece on front cover, gilt title to spine. Hand-cut gatherings. Spine lightly darkened with a few negligible stains of blue ink. Binding edges and corner occasionally bumped, without serious damage. U.e.r. A very good copy.

Some minor soiling to foot of spine, sporadic light foxing to contents. An excellent copy in a rubbed jacket with small ballpoint pen mark to spine panel, a few nicks and tiny closed tears.
