Description: Oblong elephant folio lacking a dust jacket as issued. Good copy, with dampstain affecting about first 6" from the hinge. The dampstain has caused a little discoloration on the front and rear endpapers and some rippling. The interior pages are not really affected except for slight rippling. The illustrated front board is also slightly loose and the outer cover has separated from the underlying board at the left hand edge. With over 1000 biographical entries and 600 photographs. This copy is inscribed by the author: "To Charles Kidwell - the expert on old firearms and a Kansan of the old school - who got in under the wire on the last copy of this book. Ed Bartholomew."
