Book has one creased page corner, former owner's tiny name & date (1928) at top right to ffe otherwise no former owner or used bookstore markings/stamps inside (original bookseller's stamp at bottom gutter to inside rear board), clean endpapers with no staining or tape residue, no foxing to endpapers, foxing to first few/last few pages, slight age darkening/dust soiling/foxing to outer page edges, no wear to lettering on spine or front panel - just slight sun fading to spine lettering (common defect with these early Collins 1st print books), no wear to board edges or to board corners, slight wear to spine tips, NO WEAR-THROUGH OF CLOTH AT EXTERIOR HINGES (another common defect with these early 1920s Collins books), small spot on rear board otherwise almost none of the usual dust/handling soiling to cloth boards, no bumped board corners. Book also comes with a color fascimile of the UK 1st issue Dust jacket to provide protection from damage and to improve its appearance on a shelf. Overall a VG+ book of a rare 1920s era UK Agatha Christie 1st printing of a rare 1920s U.K. Christie. I have a number of other U.K. and U.S. Agatha Christie 1st printing hardcover books up for sale.
