An elusive title; uncommon in this one-volume, illustrated edition; OCLC lists only seven worldwide holdings [Harvard, Alfred, Virginia, Mount St Vincent (Halifax), Newberry, Illinois and Victoria]. see Sadleir (Trollope) 22 Bound (with frontispiece and illustrated preliminary title page present) in contemporary 3/4 green morocco, marbled paper-covered boards, spine stamped in gilt, with five raised bands, marbled endpapers. Spine is evenly browned (green morocco has evenly age-toned to brown), light wear at tips of corners, frontispiece and pictorial title page have very slight tan discoloration (visible on unprinted verso only), else a very good copy; text has slight foxing, else very fresh and clean First one-volume edition, and first illustrated edition.
