Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, a little patchy loss (mainly to head/tail of spine and to corners), few small (approx. 5mms) tears, patchy creasing/rubbing to edges, (quite) severe foxing (including to reverse - white side), patchy browning (including to spine), creasing/rubbing/foxing to front/back inner flaps, a little creasing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, few marks, pushing/bumping to corners and is in only fair condition. Boards are very good (having been well protected by the jacket) with a hint of pushing to corners and minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Inside boards/end-papers tanned with the odd small mark/spots of foxing. Pages quite tanned. Odd small mark/(quite) strong foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms. Occasional small marks/scattered foxing to pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.

Description: Fine first edition of this early work by Murdoch. Book is clean throughout with the exception of a previous owners name and salutation on the FEP. Very little if any age toning which is unusual for a British edition. Jacket is clean but does show age toning to the top edge and on the spine. There is a very small tear 1/8 inch to the top of the front panel otherwise the jacket is bright and fresh. Jacket is now housed in a Brodart cover for protection. A very nice addition to any Murdoch collection.
