Handsomely and expertly re-bound (circa 1980) in wine-coloured quarter oasis morocco, spine with raised bands and lettered in gilt, and matching papered boards and endpapers. Top edge slightly foxed, and other edges toned in a minor way, otherwise a fine copy in an elegant leather binding. Author's third novel, very scarce in any sort of collectible condition.

Blue cloth book has spotting to the page edges, creasing to the spine edges and eraser evidence of bookseller pencil markings to front flyleaf. Jacket has some chips to the edges and loss to the upper spine affecting the letters T and S in the book title.
