F. Allsopp & Co. Ltd., preserved in the original plastic wrapper. Derek Brown was responsible for the typographic design and the book was printed under the personal supervision of A. S. Maney. This is the first edition in English of L'Art du Relieur Doreur de Livres, which was published by the French Royal Academy of Sciences in 1772, and the illustrations are copied from the original work.
