Description: 46 pages of text. Hardcover; blue cloth spine with gilt spine lettering is slightly sunned. Paper covered boards decorated with printed architectural sketches. They are slightly rubbed at the extremities, with overall age-toning and soiling. Bookplate of the Gingiss family (tuxedo, formal wear) on inside of front cover. This is hand-numbered "214" of 270 published, of which 60 were on Japanese vellum (not this one). Edmund Blunden has prefixed an essay, and the whole is embellished with theatrical figures by Randolph Schwabe. Illustrated with a decorative title page, five plates and in-text vignettes. Poetry. Text is clean, binding is tight, and overall this slim volume is quite attractive. Size: Octavo (8vo)
