The last 10 pages have a small tide mark to blank margins in places and occasional faint color bleed from the red cloth binding, otherwise the contents clean. Rebound in red leather with gilt title on black leather to the spine. A very good copy The contents cover early types of ordnance, the evolution of the modern carriage and mounting. Modern artillery equipment up to 1914. Carriages and mountings introduced 1914 â€" 1918, mounting for anti-aircraft guns, mobility, theory of recoil, sighting, railway guns etc, all with excellent detailed illustrations and drawings.
