A very good copy: Pages uncut except for the preliminary signature with title and limitation page, vellum spine clean and white (often discolored), small crimp at bottom of spine, edges and tips of sensitive paper-covered boards worn through (as usual with this heavy volume), fold-out Wessex map at rear perfect, lacking the rare and fragile dust jacket, but housed in a clear Mylar wrapper and custom slipcase. A magnificent production of one of the towering masterpieces of English literature. Scarce in this lovely condition.
