Title page dated 1892 ( publisher's details printed on the reverse of the page). Followed by Note to the first edition and preface to the fifth edition. Pale brown cloth cover with 6 Gilt Linear divisions on front with Gilt Floral design in 1. Gilt Lettering & small Floral Decoration on spine. 7 3/4" Tall, 519 Pages. Closed tear to cloth all down left side of spine and a closed horizontal tear most of the way across the spine. Some fraying and nicks to spine ends. Tips of corners worn. Previous owner's inscription on ffep and traces of a removed bookplate on endpaper. No other inscriptions. Rear hinge cracked. Binding fragile in places. Front fly leaf, frontis, title page & Note are loose. Paper lightly tanned. Size: 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" Tall
