Description: The covers and spine have light wear and there is a name written on the front end page otherwise it is a clean book. The dust jacket is extremely edge worn missing many chips as well as about as about 1/4 inch from both the head and heel of the spine plus there is about an inch tear on the seam of the front flap with some missing paper. On the back flap there are some check marks next to some of the titles by this author. We placed the dust jacket in a high quality Demco protector to preserve it from further wear, tear and soiling. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall

Description: Smaller octavo. Blue buckram covered boards and spine with orange lettering on both the spine and the front board. Book has light bumping at the head of the spine and a fair amount of bumping at the tail, both with light accompanying rubbing. Light rubbing at the tips of the outside corners. Series of white spots over the face of the spine. Light cream colored endpapers. Binding is straight and tight. Light cream colored pages are all clean and crisp. 318 pages. Red topstain. Dust Jacket - is a facsimile dust jacket - has light rubbing at the head and tail of the spine and at the tips of the outside corners. 1/16" of the head of the spine has been chipped away, and there are some tiny chips in the tail. 1/4" chip in the front corner of the head of the spine. 1/16" chip in the tips of the two front outside corners. Some rubbing along the upper edge of the rear cover. Upper corner of the front inside flap has been price clipped. Description: First edition (stated) in a reprint jacket, hardcover in blue cloth with red stamped titling to the front and spine, with a red top edge treatment, and five b&w illustrations. The book has a mild lean to the binding, light bumps to the spine ends and cover corners, some rubbing with a touch of edge wear to the covers, faint sunning with a marker notation ("19") to the spine, a previous owner's pencil marks to the title list at the back, and a small antiquarian bookseller's sticker to the head of the rear paste down, otherwise a solid Near Very Good copy in a Good only Grosset & Dunlap reprinted dust jacket, which is unclipped, and has chips and tears to the spine ends and corners with the publisher obscured at the tail of the spine, chips with short creased tears to the edges, and very faint sunning with the repeated notation to the spine. Jacket is wrapped in a Mylar cover.
