In a good machine clipped dust jacket (no price) with 3/4" deep chips across the upper edge of the spine area and heavy rubbing to the folds. This jacket appears about 1/4" taller than the height of the book. It could be a "married" jacket from another copy. 365 pages of text. Illustrated with chapter headings by J. Allen St. John. Description: Tarzan would ultimately have over a dozen novelized adventures, and though many fans of the character venerate even later volumes, the first seven or so books are widely considered to be the best of the lot. The Return of Tarzan, the second book in the series, might be one of the most venerated of the bunch. This particular copy is illustrated, a first edition, A.L. Burt Company printing in very good condition. It does have some wear, it's well over a hundred years old. The book is still readable, though the spine has some mild ruffling, and the first blank page on the inside sits loosely in the binding. The rest of the book is quite intact. A rare, collectible, vintage book; one perfect for any fantasy or science fiction fan, or the individual who appreciates literature.
