Olive green boards are somewhat soiled, especially around edges and at spine, with small spots of blue paint on front cover and some faded spots on spine. Edges shelf worn, especially bottom edge, corners bumped. Head and tail of spine rather shelf worn, chipped, and frayed. Front cover gilt titling and illustration are still nice and bright. Gilt on spine is dulled but intact. Binding starting at half title page. Endpapers are rather age-toned and discolored. Interior age-toned around edges. Gilted top edge is dulled, text block edges are somewhat soiled or discolored. Binding a bit shaken but overall intact. Previous owner's inscription in ink on FFEP and bookplate on half title.
