Description: First edition, first impression published by Michael Joseph in 1979. Adapted into a BBC TV series that ran between 1979 and 1988. Original black cloth with silver lettering to spine. A very good book with some white marking to boards and a couple of knocks to top corners with light toning to edges. The original and unclipped dust jacket has some light edge wear and a couple of small nicks to edges with some fading to spine lettering, otherwise very good.
