Edition of 1,050 copies including 50 hors commerce (an edition of 1,000 copies with a translation of the text into English was also produced for Pierre Matisse, New York); copy stamp-numbered '029' on the justification and with presentations in black ink on the half-title from Limbour and Dubuffet: 'Pour Madame Nina Dausset / Chevancheuse du Dragon des Arts / En Hommage / C. L.' and 'et avec mille amicales révérences de / Jean Dubuffet'. Nina Dausset, 'La Dragonne' in rue de Dragonne, was the owner of the gallery of the same name who gave several exhibitions to Dubuffet including that for La Métromanie. With the publisher's announcement for the book, a single sheet of white paper (230 x 190 mm) with printed text recto and verso.
