In publisher's dust jacket, $2.75 on front flap, faint dampstain to verso and rear panel, vibrant colors. A fine example. Fredric Brown was an American science fiction, mystery, short fantasy and black comedy writer. His first novel, The Fabulous Clipjoint, won an Edgar Award for outstanding mystery novel. Another novel, The Screaming Mimi, was adapted into a film in 1958. He is widely considered one of the best Science Fiction Writers of the 20th Century. Fredric Brown died in 1972, having published over 100 works of fiction. Since his death, many of his early pulp novels have been republished and have found a cult following.
