Description: [Bondiana] FIRST EDITION in English. Octavo (20 x 14cm), pp.173; [3], blank. Publisher's hardback cloth binding in pictorial dust-jacket inspired by the Raymond Hawkey 'James Bond' artwork, priced at 18s. No inscriptions, contents clean, minor spotting to top edge, fresh jacket with one short tear to rear, two small adhesive marks from jacket protector, spine entirely unfaded. Note; the title lettering was printed so as to appear rubbed. This is a particularly bright copy of an increasingly scarce book. An uncommon early Ian Fleming / James Bond expose, from the comprehensive archive assembled by Jon Gilbert (pencil ownership within). His encyclopaedic guide to the works of Ian Fleming (2012) won the 16th Breslauer Prize for bibliography. See '007 Magazine', Issue 54 (Ray Hawkey tribute by Edward Milward-Oliver).
