Description: 1925. Third Edition. 245 pages. No dust jacket. Brown cloth. Heavy foxing and tanning to pages with heavier tanning to pastedowns and endpapers. Major foxing and tanning to text block edges and both hinges are cracked with exposed netting. There is cracks to guttering with exposed netting and binding is loose. Boards have visible ink marks and rubbing. Notable bumping to corners and fair crushing to spine ends. Splitting to joints as well.

Good book with, slightly cocked, several very small, light, stains to boards in Very Good, 2/6, later printing, dust jacket with "3/- Net" "Including Extra War Costs" price sticker affixed over the 2/6 price on the spine panel, soiled with small chips at corners and several closed tears, red Methuen device at base of spine faded.
