Description: Green boards with gilt lettering on the top-front board and spine. Bright book. Light puckering to cloth on top/bottom spine. Corners are faintly rubbed so that the tips appear white. No major fraying of cloth. FFEP has the words in faint pencil "his 3rd book" and a ghost of penciled price on the top corner. Pages are toned. Square and tight. Frontis piece shows a picture of President Harding on the golf course at one of "Miami Beach's three links" Other black and white pictures. Very small original bookseller's sticker on the bottom-left of the FFEP. On the last end paper there is a small orange stain smaller than the size of pencil eraser.

Description: Green cloth with gilt titles. This copy has light, general edge and corner wear along with typical interior toning. There is a small area of damage at the top of the front foredge that is not particularly noticeable. I suspect that there was a small spill here that was quickly cleaned. Overall the book is a solid VG. No dust jacket. This was one of three books that Roberts (Northwest Passage) wrote early in his career promoting Florida land sales. Kenneth Roberts (1885-1957) wrote historical fiction, winning the Pulitzer Prize Special Citation in 1957 for his novels focusing on early American history. Amy Lyman Phillips, who this book is inscribed to, was a writer and arbiter in the Palm Beach area, writing publicity for the local hotels as well as writing a column in The Palm Beach Post.
