Title page signed by the author as Ernest Thompson Seton with his signature paw print. together with pasted on presentation inscription from the author to Miller Christy (probably Essex ornithologist and naturalist). Early pages marginally smoke stained. Plates with lightish damp stain, with associated cockling. Included are three mounted photographic plates (probably from the Call of the Wild) each numbered with a signed presentation inscription from Seton. Publishers' cloth gilt boards (detached). Spine defective and rear board showing significant signs of damp. Images available on request.
