Description: First edition first printing. Hardback book is tight clean and square. Boards sharp and clean. Spine ends lightly bumped, title gilt perfect. Text block clean, with toning to edges, more pronounced to the top edge which also has spotting. The pages are crisp and unblemished. Feels lightly read and very tight. Grades very good. Jacket is complete and tidy, with minor crimping edges, and pressure marking to the front panel. The rear white panel has some toning to edges. The spine is sunned, resulting in the loss of yellow to the spine titles. Overall grades very good. For grading accuracy books are photographed without a protective book cover. This book is fitted with a non adhesive archival quality book protector to make a worthy addition to your collection. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. A very solid copy of this early Pratchett title.

"Strata" is a science fiction novel by Terry Pratchett, published in 1981. It follows the story of Kin Arad, a terraformer who discovers that her world is an artificial construct. She joins a group of adventurers, including the enigmatic and witty spaceship pilot Jago Jalo, to explore the disc-shaped world and uncover its secrets. Pratchett's trademark humour and satire are evident in this early work, offering a unique take on science fiction tropes. While not set in the Discworld universe for which Pratchett is best known, "Strata" showcases his talent for blending speculative fiction with insightful commentary on human nature.
