Description: First edition published by Ulsterman Publications in 1975. This is a near fine copy. The wrappers and pages are in a clean and presentable condition with only minor handling wear. This copy has been inscribed by Heaney to dutch translator Peter Nijmeijer. It reads "Seamus Heaney for Peter Nijmeijer with good wishes and gratitude June 1977 in Rotterdam." Heaney has also made a correction to the text on page 5. Heaney and Peter Nijmeijer were friends for many years, and Nijmeijer would translate several of Heaney's works for the dutch market.
