Description: First printing SIGNED & by Heinlein. The Heinlein signature has been removed from a damaged book and mounted on a book plate which is laid into the book. Book binding shows light wear, a faded lower right corner of the front cover, some light corner and edge wear and the silver letting is rubbed. Light soiling to the edges of the page block. Jacket has price of $3.95, states "Winner of the "HUGO" Award for the best science fiction novel of 1959 presented at the World Science Fiction Convention" top of the back panel and is tanned on the spine with 2 tiny nicks bottom of the spine, some shelf wear top of the spine and tanned along the top of the rear panel. Front panel is clean and looks unfaded. Previous owner's name in ink on the front fixed end paper is normally covered by the inside front jacket flap. A very presentable copy.
