Lawrence, D.H.. St. Mawr, Together With The Princess. London, Martin Secker, 1925.

Price: US$500.00 + shipping

Description: 288 pgs., 8vo. Brown cloth binding, one small bump at head, nice gilt spine titles and no surface wear. Clean inside also except for some light foxing on the prelims, and an odd manufacturing defect: a faint shadow of the pastedown depressions appears on the free endpapers, as a 'toned' rectangle. Probably the indented (unlined) board papers admitted some air or binder's board acidity which toned the middle area of the facing pages, but not their edges, where the paper was buffered by cloth turn-ins. This is the first state of the printing, with an incorrect starting page number. Book photo on request. Very good condition (no dust jacket).
