Description: Softcover. Cream binding with red and black lettering on front cover, with a translucent paper covering over binding. In good condition, especially considering age, with the exception of tearing on the clear paper covering all along the fore-edges of front and back covers and on the spine. Clear paper covering is also discolored due to age. Some wear present on both covers. 27 pages. Title page dated 1929. Colophon page lists this as a First Edition. This copy is also listed on colophon page as No. 112 of a Limited Edition of 125 copies. Despite wear and tearing present on the paper binding covering, this copy is a Limited Edition and in good condition. Binding good and tight. Pages clean and square.

Description: Cream white wraps under onion skin are mostly clean, with title in red and black ink. Wraps show some tears to onion skin, color transfer from slipcase to lower spine. Corners are sharp. Spine, with no text, is fresh, with firm ends. Binding is strong. End papers/ pastedowns show little sign of age or wear. Interior is gently age-toned. Inside pages are free of writing and intentional marks. Slipcase, boards covered in gilt paper with silver gilt spine, shows damage at head and foot ends. Case shows edgewear and rubbing. Lymington, born in Chicago and raised for some years in Wyoming before returning to England, was a right-wing figure in British politics in the years before World War II.** The book is noteworthy as an example of the output of The Black Sun Press, founded by Harry Crosby and his wife Clarisse. The press was distinguished by the high quality of its editions and typographic excellence, and it became one of the most important small presses in Paris in the 1920s.** First edition, printed Autumn 1929. 25 copies printed on Japan Paper, of which this is copy number 3.
