Clean pages and illustrations with light tanning and mild foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Gilt lettering is darkened. Moderate sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Boards are bowed. Visible wear marks to boards.

Description: Blue cloth covers with gold gilt lettering and design on spine and front cover which is bright and attractive. Light wear and bumping to corners and spine ends. Very light shelf wear to covers. Light yellowing to page ends, inside front and back covers and text due to age. Text is otherwise clean and unmarked. Hinges are tight. Many very nice b&w and full page color illustrations that are beautiful and original. All are present and in fine condition. The artist is 16 years old and considered a prodigy. This is her rendition artistic rendition of the poem. Illustrated dj has multiple tears and chips on corners and spine ends. Large tears and chips with creasing on bottom edge of back cover and hinge. Heavy soiling to spine. Light wear, soiling and shelf wear to front edges, hinges and covers. "With a prefatory letter by W.B. Yeats." All of our books are individually inspected and never ex-lib unless explicitly described as such.
