Vols. bound in copper and green Japanese silk cloth, gilt & morocco spine labels, numbered on colophon leaf, preserved in original brown Japanese cloth open-backed slipcase, from the library of noted bibliophile and Campbell-Logan Bindery patron, Jack Walsdorf, w/ 4 pp. prospectus laid-in, three Campbell-Logan Bindery Christmas cards to Walsdorf, all signed by Greg Campbell, and move notice. First edition, No. 102 of 170 sets printed on Frankfurt Mouldmade Paper, composed in Bell Types by Michael and Winifred Bixler, printed by hand by Henry Morris at his Bird & Bull Press, and bound by Campbell-Logan. The memoir not only describes Campbell's experiences as bookbinder as the binding business has changed over 50 years, mentioning many of the private press owners such as Henry Morris, Harry Duncan, Gerry Lange, George Baer, and others. Of particular interest is the appendix volume with sample bookcloths imported from Japan, Holland, Germany & Italy.
