Description: Stated Second Edition. The text was copyrighted by The Mark Twain Company in 1935. In the same year Harper & Brothers copyrighted the illustrations. The introduction by Clara Clemens is titled How My Father Mark Twain Translated Struwwelpeter For His Children. The book is rated only Fair. As you can see, the paper on the spine is gone, the underlying material is present and solid. The spine looks pretty straight and the book is solidly bound. There are no cracks or spaces between any of the pages or between the covers and any of the pages. There is some light rubbing on the cover edges, a thin bit of rub-through in one place on the front covers middle edge, rub-through at each of the four corners. I don't see any soiling or staining on the page edges. The pages are in pretty good condition. They do have some soiling, mostly some spots that look like thumbprints. Two facing pages have spotting or foxing, and I saw one other page with some of the same. The bottom corner of one page has a thin crease above it. There are no markings in the book. No attachments of any kind. And no one has written their name or anything else anywhere.
